Earlvolution

A highly intelligent and powerful squirrel, Earl, has been leading his brethren in fighting the unsavory Psi-Co Nut Corporation which, under the leadership of Meg A. Korpoorashun, has been ravaging the forest which they call home. A high-tech assassination attempt on Earl goes terribly wrong and transforms the squirrel into a man.

From this fanciful, boredom-induced vision sprung a (hopefully) never to be produced film script by (in reverse alphabetical order) Brion L. Vibber, Wade Sands, and Russell Andes. The name? Earl The Incredible Squirrel.

Earlvolution collects the eleven drafts of the Earl script as it progressed from its quirky beginnings into a full-blown multiple talking squirrel extravaganza, then back into a slightly saner (but less zingy) human drama. Sections of the text are color-coded to indicate which draft they originate in, and numerous links are (will be) placed throughout so you can follow the evolution of each scene if you like. We're also assembling character bios for those too lazy to read a whole script.

April 12 - Earl7, First complete draft
April 29, 2 pm - Earl8, first attempt to remove the talking squirrels

May 16 - Earl10, more fixes
